RTE, the Irish national broadcaster confirmed that they will be taking part in the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest in Denmark. They haven't revealed how they will be choosing their 2014 entrant, however it would be expected that the national selection process that sees music industry members select their entrant for the show will continue.
Ireland has won the Eurovision Song Contest a total of 7 times ( 1971,1981,1987, 1992,1993, 1994,1996) and is the country that has won the event the most times but sadly this year Ireland came last with “Only Love Survives” by Ryan Dolan with just 5 points.
