Iceland, Albania and Georgia confirmed participation!

RUV, the Icelandic broadcaster has confirmed to esctoday.com that they will be taking part in the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest in Denmark. RUV have not confirmed their selection method for 2014. In 2013 Iceland were represented by Eythor Ingi with “Ég á lĂ­f” coming 17th in the final.

RTVSH has confirmed that they will be taking part in the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest. The Albanian broadcaster also confirmed to esctoday.com that Albania will continue to use Festivali i Kenges as their selection process for the contest.

It is expected that Festivali i Kenges will take place in third week of December over the Christmas period. This year Albania were represented by Adrian Lulgjurak and Bledar Sejko with “Identitet” they came 15th in the second semi final with just 31 points.

GPB of Georgia have confirmed that they will be taking part in the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest in Denmark. The broadcaster revealed this information to esctoday.com however they have not said how they will select their entrant for 2014. Let's hope that no Swedish composers will be involved again!
