Melodifestivalen 2015 participants revealed!

The first 14 participants were revealed earlier today by SVT, the Swedish national broadcaster. SVT revealed the names of the artists that will take part in the first and second semi-final of the Melodifestivalen 2015.




Semifinal 1 is scheduled to be held in Gothenburg on 7 February 2015:

• Jessica Andersson – Can’t hurt me now
• Behrang Miri feat. Victor Fritz Crone – Det rår vi inte för
• Dolly Style – Hello hi
• Molly Pettersson Hammar – I’ll be there
• Elize Ryd & Rickard Söderberg – One by one
• Daniel Gildenlöw – Pappa
• Eric Saade – Sting 

 Semifinal 2 is scheduled to be held in Malmö on 14 February 2015:

• Mariette – Don’t stop believing
• Emelie Irewald - Där och då med dig
• Linus Svenning – Forever starts today
• Magnus Carlsson – Möt mig i gamla stan
• Samir & Viktor – Groupie
• Neverstore – If I was God for one day
• Marie Bergman & Sanne Salomonsen - Nonetheless

Tomorrow morning we will find out the remaining 14 acts which will compete at Melodifestivalen 2015. Eric Saade is making a comeback this year. He represented Sweden at Eurovision 2011 and obtained an honorable 3rd place. He also took part at Melodifestivalen 2010.
