Today I was searching on Facebook things about Eurovision 2011 and found some interesting pages and articles that made me realize who Azerbaijan really is. I don't want to start a war campaign against this country but the truth must be known!
As everyone probably knows, Azerbaijan won Eurovision 2011 with a total of 221 points followed closely by Italy with 189 points. Eurovisionista.com reported that Azerbaijan bought the jury votes from different countries, some of them gave Azerbaijan the highest points two years ago.
Let's take a look at the statistics:
Countries that voted for Azerbaijan in 2011: Russia (12 points), Malta (12 points), Croatia (10 points), San Marino (10 points), Ukraine (10 points), Moldova (10 points), Romania (10 points), Lithuania (8 points), Estonia ( 8 points), Austria (8 points), Iceland (8 points), Albania (8 points), Cyprus (8 points) etc
Countries that didn't vote for Azerbaijan in 2011: Denmark, Italy, United Kingdom, Slovenia, Spain, Serbia, Norway, Bulgaria, Macedonia and Armenia.
Countries that gave big points to Azerbaijan in 2012: Lithuania (12 points), Russia (10 points), Malta (12 points), Ukraine (12 points), Moldova (10 points), Georgia (10 points)

It is a clear fact that Azerbaijan bought votes in Moldova, Lithuania, Malta and other small countries. It is also known that Oikotimes.com and ESCtoday.com received money from Azerbaijan's broadcaster to aggressively promote the country in different ways. For example, one so called 'journalist' that writes for ESCtoday started a campaign on a social network to promote Azerbaijan in Romania by giving lots of prizes in 2011.
