Today, a total of six countries will pick their entries for the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest, making it the so-called (and waited!) Super Saturday! In addition to that, a total five more countries will have chosen participants on the days before and after. Super Saturday is here!
It'll all start with Moldova where no less than 93 songs were entered for the national selection. Only 25 were selected for their final.
Next up is Ukraine picking their entry. 21 acts are still in the running to become Ukraine's next Eurovision Song Contest entry. I hope that Jamala with "Smile" will win.
Just five minutes later, Latvia starts their national selection, Eirodziesma 2011. A total of eleven songs will now participate in the big final which will take place in Ventspils tonight! I hope that Lauris Reiniks wins with "Banjo Laura"
Now it's time for Denmark, starting at 20:30 CET! Danish broadcaster DR has revealed it's ten acts that will compete in the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix at Ballerup Super Arena on Saturday. Who will win? You'll find out on Saturday!
Estonia decided to go another way this year and introduced two semi-finals, concluding a final many call the best in years. Ten have qualified and now it's up to a professional jury and ultimately the viewers to make their choice who will win their national selection. I hope Getter Jaani wins with "Rockefeller street"
